Tuskegee University is pleased to announce that Ben Rosebrock has been named Chief Information Officer.

Rosebrock has 25 years of experience driving strategic IT initiatives and cost reduction across educational institutions. He most recently served as Vice Chancellor and Chief Technology Officer for the Alabama Community College System. Since 2018, he has managed the implementation of a shared, cloud-hosted enterprise resource planning solution for 24 colleges, the system office and other departments within the system.

The graduate of Sul Ross State University earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and his MBA there.

“We are living in an information age. He who owns the data, in real time, will make the best decision almost every time.  That is why I am looking forward to transforming our use of data led by the expertise of Ben,” said Dr. Mark A. Brown, President and CEO. “His experience in strategic planning, technology development and governance and the ability to build strong, efficient teams will be an asset at Tuskegee. He has a proven track record of delivering measurable results aligned with organizational goals.”

Prior to his work with the state system, Rosebrock led cross-functional teams through Ellucian to improve IT offerings and support at Central Alabama Community College and Lenoir-Rhyne University. In this role, he improved Wi-Fi density and internet services, led digital transformation services and conducted business process analysis to improve the student experience.

“It is with immense honor that I join Tuskegee University as the Chief Information Officer,” said Rosebrock. “I am deeply inspired by the University's historic legacy and look forward to contributing to its future through strategic technology initiatives. My focus will be on enhancing the student experience, fostering innovation, and supporting the University's core mission. Together, we will build upon the strong foundation laid by those before us, creating a brighter digital landscape for the entire Tuskegee community.”
